This scholarship is designed to provide a financial award of up to $1000 to a student who is looking to pursue a college/technical school or continuing education for the 2026-2027 school year. We have titled the scholarship “Under the Radar” because the committee is looking for students who fly under the radar for the standard current methods of scholarships or awards.

The candidate should be a student who works hard in school, helps or shows compassion and caring towards other students and/or community members yet often these actions go unrecognized due to the nature of the student. This recipient may not have been recognized for their actions within current award systems.

We are seeking candidates nominated by peers, mentors, and community members.

“Society teaches us that having feelings and crying is bad and wrong. Well, that’s baloney, because grief isn’t wrong. There’s such a thing as good grief. Just ask Charlie Brown.”    -Michael Scott

In life, we all go through struggles and hardships, and how we move forward can change the course of our journey and the lives of those around us. It is in those moments that we are given the opportunity to turn pain into purpose, just as Christopher’s family has done.

This scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to students who demonstrate resilience, compassion, and a commitment to supporting mental health awareness as they continue their education.
